Sunlight filters 

through the curtains

golden through the glass

softly, Sobe paces 

to and fro

hungry, clueless

almost indecipherable 

from her shadow

when lies give way to clarity
you'll see through my disguise
i'll see myself reflected in
your disappointed eyes
